Medical Grade Chemical Peels

Chemical Peels

Chemical Peels involve the application of a chemical solution to improve the skin’s appearance. Chemical peels work by ungluing the top layer of skin so it can peel away and reveal the fresh new skin beneath. By applying the peel to the skin, it can reduce or eliminate fine lines under the eyes and around the mouth, correct uneven skin pigmentation, soften acne and treat scars caused by acne. The procedure can also treat wrinkles caused by sun damage and scarring, as well as skin blemishes common with age and heredity. Chemical peels can be performed on the face, neck, décolleté, and hands. The procedure enables new, regenerated skin to appear, improving the appearance of the condition. Adult Health N.P. uses only medical grade chemical peel products. We can customize the strength of the peel to your individual skins needs.

A Chemical Peel is a noninvasive, exfoliating treatment that relies on fruit acids, herbs and antioxidants to loosen the “glue” that binds dead cells to the skin’s surface. It increases the production of collagen and improves the appearance of acne, environmental damage, hyperpigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles. The result is smoother, tighter, more hydrated new skin, ultimately leaving you with a clearer, more youthful complexion.

Acne, environmental damage, hyperpigmentation and melasma, fine lines and wrinkles.

A treatment normally takes between 30 and 45 minutes, although time varies depending upon the area being treated.

Results can be seen about five to seven days after the first treatment, however a series of treatments is recommended in order to achieve optimal results.

Minor irritation of the skin can occur, resulting in slight pinking of the skin. The skin should return to normal color within a few days. The exfoliated skin painlessly peels away, revealing newer, fresher skin.
